Uranus kept drifting off its predicted path, so astronomers computed where an unseen planet’s gravity must be pulling from. In 1846 Neptune was found within 1° of the predicted spot - gravity’s laws, proven by prediction.

Launched 16 days before its twin, Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft ever to visit all four giant planets - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. It entered interstellar space in 2018 and is still returning data.
