The other star

K2-266 B has no spectral type listed of magnitude 13.54, judged a true companion. In 2015 it was 42.7″ from K2-266, at position angle 256° (Washington Double Star Catalog, 10317+0056 GWP1393): 3,312 AU on the sky at this distance. The true distance can only be larger. Its colour is estimated from its brightness.

Values are the NASA Exoplanet Archive’s composite parameters. A radius marked estimated comes from a mass–radius relation; a mass marked minimum is M sin i. Planet sizes and colours in the 3D view are renderings: none of these worlds has been photographed as more than a point of light.
